Hotel Mm Dateo - Milan

I expected a complimentary upgrade for my trouble, but alas. Breakfast was a shameful display of long life food, ruining my mornings. I almost wanted to recommend this place, but i just couldn't.

From our holiday in Italy we have booked 3 hotels, so there is something to compare with. On the plus side, the guys at reception. Any question you have will be solved. And suitcases upstairs to raise, advise on transportation, they have a great coffee machine, cappuccino is one of the delicious. The hotel is located in the sleeping area, just across the street stop trolleybus going to the waiting station, to the Duomo 20 minutes by transport. It is a 1 hour walk away. There is a supermarket across the block from the hotel, not to say cheap, but if you need something urgent it is quite. The fridge wasn't in our room.

Plumbing especially showers "tired" of the word very. And another feature of this hotel is that it probably has a boiler or something, because once we came early, we could swim in very hot water. In the following days, coming apparently at the peak of the return of all the guests, the water was not very warm. and this is while the battery was off even for the night. It was very cool at night in the room. And I don't know how to wash the towels yet, but they give off a steady, strong smell of vinegar.

Everything was perfectly fine, comfortable hotel, the location was unbeatable near to the center or nearest subway station and supermarkets, cafes and shops. The staff from start to finish were very amiable and responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed the savoury breakfast:)))

Didn't like the staff, some of them were very unkind.

The location was excellent with easy access to public transport and a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff were accommodating and helpful, particularly when I needed assistance with navigation and local dining recommendations. The room was spacious enough to provide a comfortable work environment, nice for a pleasant stay during my business trip.

The breakfast selection lacked variety and freshness.

Value for money is a double plus. Of course it wasn't the best hotel with the best breakfast. It was ok, but because of the low costs, it was really nice. Bed, bathroom, shower... It was all nice and clean, location was also good!

We were given a room with no windows for the same money as the room windows. Poor sound insulation. Very close the hotel.

The room was nice and quiet, clean and well equipped.

The breakfast was a joke with croissants that were several days old, bread that one can break his teeth in and milk that was supposed to be eaten with cereal, but was actually sour.

Our room was very compact with hardly any space for luggage, and the breakfast area felt unkempt. The location was conveniently close to public transport, making city exploration easy and enjoyable.

Very expensive and very far from the city. Just one autobus for transportation.

Cheap - did the job. Location right outside Dateo station, bob on.

Air conditioning was making noises during the night and disturbing sleep. Leaving the key at the front desk is something I'm uncomfortable with as I'd rather keep this on me, in addition when claiming the room key there was no checks to say that I was who I claimed to be despite having met 4 different members of staff. Furniture layout could be improved in bedrooms. Rooms hadn't had a decent clean for an extended period of time due to high levels of dust found in the higher to reach places (found after putting bag out of way on cupboard) Grouting hadn't been done in bathroom for a fair while and reluctance to leave more than one toilet roll when 3 guests are in one room? Breakfast was slow to update consumed items (milk, croissants etc meaning waiting a while or missing out entirely due to rush) Asked to pay in cash on last day - would be more advisable to tell guests this as we check in not as we leave!

The atmosphere was nice with helpful staff. Location was perfect, with the tram right outside and plenty of cafes and restaurants around. The room was spacious and secluded from street noise. I loved the breakfast spread in the courtyard under the palm tree.

Italian-romantic-movie style. No windows, but a door to the terrasse. Permanent twilight which is perfect for making love :) The TV has the USB out which is convenient as well. Stuff is very friendly. Located nicely but a bit hard to reach at night.

Everything was good, the parking was nearby, the room was extremely pleasant and compact...
